Armando Garcia Re-Signs With the Dragons
San Mateo Native Excited to Build on Last Year's Efforts
Earlier this week, the Burlingame Dragons Football Club received their 15th commitment for the 2016 Premier Development League season when midfielder Armando Garcia re-upped with the Dragons organization.
Garcia played in seven games for the Dragons last season, playing multiple positions and providing hard-nosed leadership to the squad in 2015.
Garcia’s versatility made him an important piece of the Dragons championship season as he saw action in the midfield and as a defender throughout the campaign.
The former Notre Dame de Namur player finished his Argonaut career in 2013, scoring 19 goals and 10 assists over his three seasons in Belmont.
The 6’0, 160 lb. Garcia played his high school soccer in nearby Redwood City at Sequoia High School where he excelled finishing as his team’s leading scorer and as a 1st team All-League player in both his Junior and a Senior seasons for the Cherokees.
