Opponent Preview:

BYU Cougars dropped both games at home in the back-to-back series against Fresno Fuego last weekend. So far this season, the Cougars managed just three wins, one of which was against the Burlingame Dragons FC when they traveled to BYU in mid-May.

The BYU Cougars have been struggled this season both offensively and defensively. They have already played ten games, most in the Central Pacific Division, but the team as the whole could only find the back of the net nine times. Meanwhile, the defensive end gave up twelve goals. The poor performance from both ends has hurt the Cougars, who are now 3-4-3 and currently sitting in 4th place in the Central Pacific Division’s ranking.

The Burlingame Dragons FC is seeking a third consecutive victory. The Dragons now have scored 19 goals this season, the most in the division.  Fans are looking forward to seeing if Danny Musovski and Jamael Cox can help lead the team to another win at home. The Dragons, four points away from first place, will now use the home crowd to their advantage and continue to defend their championship title. After this, Saturday, San Francisco City FC are our next visitors, followed a week later will be the return of BYU Cougars.
