Burlingame Dragons Fall 3-0 to Fresno Fuego

The Burlingame Dragons fell in their home opener 3-0 to the Fresno Fuego on Sunday afternoon. The Fuego opened the scoring in the 41st minute with a goal from Joey Chica. In the second half, the Fuego continued to apply pressure as China added his second of the night in the 61st minute. The game was put to bed in the 77th minute with a penalty kick goal from Diego Casillas. With the win, Fresno moves into a first place tie with FC Golden State in the PDL's Southwest Division. The Dragons fall to 0-2-1 on the season. Both teams were fielding short handed lineups with big midweek Open Cup fixtures looming large.
