Former Dragon Kendall McIntosh Signs Professional Contract with Portland Timbers 2

Former U.S. U-20 National Keeper Takes Skills to the Pacific Northwest

The Portland Timbers 2 of the United Soccer League signed former Burlingame Dragon goalkeeper Kendall McIntosh this week.  The athletic goalkeeper is coming off of a great season with the Santa Clara Broncos, helping lead them to the West Coast Conference title in 2015.

In his senior season, McIntosh was named to the NSCAA third team All-Far West region, WCC Co-Goalkeeper of the Year and earned 2nd team All-WCC honors. McIntosh started and played every minute of his senior campaign posting an 11-8-1 record with a 1.13 goals against average. He posted six clean sheets.

McIntosh started and played in one game from the Dragons in 2015, serving primarily as a backup to current Orange County Blues and former Dragon goalkeeper Josh Cohen. In his one start, McIntosh took the loss against the Ventura County Fusion in Ventura County, 1-0.

The Dragons would like to congratulate Kendall and we wish him the very best as he begins his career in the United Soccer League.
