Burlingame Dragons FC Scrimmage the Mexican National Team

Dragons Players Trained with El Tri as they Prepared for their Match with Chile on Saturday

The Burlingame Dragons participated in a full training session on Thursday night with the Mexican National Team in San Jose. Mexico is preparing for their Copa America Quarterfinal Match on Saturday against Chile at Levi's Stadium.

The two squads played a restricted 11v11 scrimmage for 60 minutes, coached by Mexico's Juan Carlos Osorio. Mexico played two full groups, starters then reserves. Javier Hernández, Guillermo Ochoa, & Jesús Corona all participated. The final score was 2-1 Mexico, with the Dragons goal scored by Khalid Arramdani. Dragons keeper Paul Blanchette made several key saves for BDFC. Several San Jose Earthquakes U-18 Academy players participated alongside the Dragons in the scrimmage.
