Burlingame Dragons FC & San Jose Earthquakes Renew Affiliation Agreement

The Burlingame Dragons FC and San Jose Earthquakes have renewed their Major League Soccer-Premier Development League affiliation, signing a two year renewal contract through the 2018 season. The Dragons will continue as the Earthquakes’ U-23 side for the third consecutive season.

"We are excited to renew our affiliation with the San Jose Earthquakes of Major League Soccer. The partnership has been crucial to the growth of our franchise over the last two seasons, both on and off the field." Dragons President Jordan Gardner.

The Quakes and Dragons FC have been affiliated since 2015—Burlingame’s inaugural season in PDL—and have made several connections over the past two years. This offseason, San Jose acquired two former Dragons in Homegrown signing Nick Lima and third round SuperDraft selection Christian Thierjung.
