Opponent Preview:

SF City were upset by the Las Vegas Mobsters in their first home match last week despite having the majority of possession. SFCFC was the better team when it came to holding the ball and creating chances. The team effort combined for 11 shots on goal but SFCFC were unable to capitalize on the advantage. In contrast, the Mobsters were dangerous from set pieces as they scored from free kicks at the start of each half and successfully secured all three points. SFCFC suffered their first loss of the season last week, after winning four games on the road and racking up ten points.

SFCFC have scored eight goals and allowed five so far this season. This Friday night’s game will be a big test for the Dragons back line who already gave up eleven goals in just seven games. However, the offensive end is expected to continue their excellent performance. Burlingame Dragons FC leads the division in most scoring teams with 15 goals, of which five were scored against LA Laguna FC on the home opening day.

Having already scored four goals this season, Jamael Cox is the Dragons leading scorer. He also recently scored in a 40-minute scrimmage with Argentina National team, the forward is having one of the best seasons of his career. He also has two assists and has contributed greatly to the success of the team this season.

Currently tied at third place with ten points, the fans will see a physical and high-speed matchup between the two clubs. Kickoff is set for 7:00 pm PST at Burlingame High School.
